CAMPING ETIQUETTE
YES, THERE IS SUCH A THING.

The next time you want to be one with nature...

consider these fine tips. And remember, when you're camping, you're someone's neighbor! We all love to get out into the wild, take in the fresh air and see the stars better than we can anywhere else. But as a camper, you need to also follow a few simple rules so that everyone (including those around you) have a safe and enjoyable camping experience. Remember to follow the 10:00pm quiet rule. Yes, after 10:00pm, you need to curb your yelling, screaming and uncontrollable laughing. And if you've ever camped in a tent, you should know that your voice carries for miles, even when you're whispering! Try to keep your fires under control. Sure, it's a hoot when you add that gasoline on your campfire...just remember what Smokey the Bear always said. And lastly, remember that everyone out there in the campgrounds is looking for peace and quiet. So, if you happen to bring along your canine friend, be sure to monitor how many birds, squirrels and racoons it decides to bark at, because a dog that barks all day, is not man's best friend.
